Community & Caregiver Education

Encouraging dignity, awareness and independent living support through comprehensive training programs and meaningful community engagement across Africa.

Overview

Caregivers — whether a parent, a spouse, a sibling or a hired carer — carry an enormous amount of responsibility, often with little formal training and even less support for themselves. InuAbility works directly with caregivers and families to build practical, dignity-centred caregiving skills, while also working with the wider community — schools, faith groups, employers, neighbours — so that the person being cared for isn't isolated within their own household.

Good caregiver education isn't only about tasks like lifting, feeding or medication routines. It's also about recognising the caregiver's own wellbeing, and helping the people cared for build the skills and confidence to live as independently as possible.
