Who we are

InuAbility Consultancy ("we", "us", "our") operates this website and has a presence in both Kenya and Australia. This site is publicly accessible, and we welcome visitors and enquiries from anywhere in the world. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at inuabilityconsultancy@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We do not require you to create an account to browse this site. We collect:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on site, general location (country/city level), device and browser type, collected automatically through analytics tools.
• Contact form submissions — if you use the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, the option you select describing who you are (e.g. individual, employer, school), and the message you write us. This is processed through Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, and forwarded to our email inbox.
• Direct correspondence — if you choose to reach out to us via email, WhatsApp, or Facebook instead of the contact form, we collect whatever information you share with us through those channels, subject to their own privacy policies.

Legal basis for processing

Where this applies to you (for example, under the GDPR), we process your personal data on the following bases: to respond to a contact form submission or direct message, we rely on our legitimate interest in communicating with people who reach out to us, which we consider does not override your own rights and interests given it's limited to replying to your enquiry. For non-essential analytics cookies, we rely on your consent, given (or withheld) via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses the following tools to understand how visitors use it:

• Google Search Console — helps us understand how the site appears in Google search results.
• Microsoft Clarity — provides anonymized usage analytics such as page views and general navigation patterns.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this site and respond to enquiries:

• Formspree — processes and forwards contact form submissions to us.

Each of these is governed by its own privacy policy, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own marketing purposes on our behalf.

International data transfers

Because we operate between Kenya and Australia and use service providers based elsewhere (including the United States), your information may be processed or stored in a country other than the one you're in. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on the safeguards our service providers already have in place, and we work only with reputable providers who maintain appropriate security standards.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and we've applied security headers (including a Content Security Policy) to reduce the risk of common web attacks. Contact form submissions are handled by Formspree and only accessible to authorised members of InuAbility Consultancy. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Data retention

Analytics data is retained according to the default policies of Google Search Console and Microsoft Clarity. Contact form submissions are retained in Formspree and our email inbox only as long as necessary to respond to and resolve your enquiry, after which we periodically delete old correspondence. Any direct correspondence with us (e.g. emails) is retained on the same basis.

Your rights

Wherever you're located, we aim to offer you the same core set of rights over your personal data: the right to access what we hold about you, correct it if it's inaccurate, request that we delete it, and object to how we're using it. Depending on where you're based, you may also have specific rights under your local law, including:

• Kenya — rights under the Data Protection Act, 2019, enforced by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
• Australia — rights under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, including the right to make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if you believe we've mishandled your data.
• European Union / United Kingdom — rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
• Elsewhere — if your local law grants you additional or different rights, we'll do our best to honour them on request; contact us and let us know what you need.
